The Northeastern Local School District will hold Kindergarten registration and screening assessments for students entering Kindergarten in the 2018-19 school year during May 7-10. Parents of children eligible for Kindergarten should call their home school to arrange for an appointment on one of these days. Appointments can be scheduled from 8:00-3:00 during the registration window. The phone numbers for our elementary buildings are: Northridge Elementary-(937)342-4627, South Vienna Elementary-(937)346-0840, or Rolling Hills Elementary-(937)399-2250.
If parents cannot come to their school during the designated week to register, they still need to call the school to arrange for an appointment time at a later date.
Children who will be entering kindergarten in the Northeastern Local District for the 2018-19 school year must be five (5) years of age by August 1, 2018. State law does require that all students must attend Kindergarten before entering first grade.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s original birth certificate (health department copy), proof of residency, custody papers (if applicable), and their immunization record.
At the time of registration, you will receive several informational items that will answer questions about the upcoming school year. Please contact the school in your attendance area if you have any questions.
