Board Hires New Rolling Hills Principal, NEHS Athletic Director

Two new faces will join the NELSD administrative team this year with Drew Snyder as Rolling Hills Principal and Chuck Raterman as NEHS Athletic Director. 
The Board of Education voted June 13 to hire Mr. Snyder and Mr. Raterman to their new positions for the fall of 2018.
"Mr. Snyder and Raterman bring experience and enthusiasm to their new roles in the district and we are looking forward to their leadership and expertise at NELSD," said Superintendent Dr. John Kronour. 
Mr. Snyder is currently the Assistant Principal of Madison Plains Elementary/Intermediate School. Prior to that, he taught Physical Education and Health at West Liberty-Salem Junior/Senior High School and Northwestern High School.
A graduate of Jonathan Alder High School, he holds a Bachelor's degree from Morehead State University in Physical and Health Education and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Chicago.
Mr. Raterman is currently a Career-Based Intervention teacher at Northeastern High School. Prior to that, he was the Athletic Director of the Hillclimbers at Urbana City Schools for a decade and coached athletics for 23 years at the high school level. 
Mr. Raterman holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from The Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Wright State University. He is a certified athletic administrator and member of the National Athletic Administrators Association.
